Tamsin Money
Creative Director & Founder
Tamsin Money founded Veloura Collective with a singular vision: to create clothing that transcends trends and honors the relationship between maker, garment, and wearer.
Trained at Central Saint Martins and with experience at several prestigious London fashion houses, Tamsin brings a deep understanding of both traditional tailoring and contemporary design. Her work is characterized by clean lines, thoughtful construction, and an unwavering commitment to quality.
"I have always been drawn to the idea of clothing as something more than decoration," Tamsin explains. "The garments we wear shape how we move through the world, how we feel in our bodies, how we present ourselves. That is a responsibility I take seriously."
This philosophy informs every aspect of Veloura Collective. From the initial sketch to the final stitch, Tamsin is involved in every stage of the design and production process, ensuring that each piece meets her exacting standards.
Design Philosophy
"I believe in designing for real people living real lives. My work is not about spectacle or novelty—it is about creating pieces that feel inevitable, that integrate seamlessly into a wardrobe, that become more valuable with time."
Tamsin's approach is rooted in restraint and intentionality. She favors natural materials, muted colors, and silhouettes that emphasize proportion over embellishment. The result is clothing that feels both contemporary and timeless, that can be worn for years without feeling dated.
"Fashion should not be disposable. When we treat clothing as ephemeral, we devalue the labor that goes into making it and contribute to a system that is fundamentally unsustainable. I want to offer an alternative—clothing that is worth caring for, worth repairing, worth keeping."
Influences & Inspiration
Architecture
Brutalist structures, Japanese minimalism, and the work of architects like Tadao Ando inform Tamsin's approach to form and space.
Photography
The work of photographers like Irving Penn and Hiroshi Sugimoto—masters of light, shadow, and composition—deeply influences her aesthetic.
Nature
Coastal landscapes, geological formations, and the organic irregularity of the natural world provide endless inspiration.
"The best design is invisible. It does not demand attention—it simply works, beautifully and quietly, in service of the person wearing it."
